NHE completes delivery to Saudi Arabia as new chemical processing shop installation moves ahead
NHE has announced that the final delivery of chemical processing equipment has now been completed in connection with a new aerospace processing facility being installed in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. NHE has been awarded a total of three contracts by Messier Services UK, who are undertaking the development of a new facility for the repair and overhaul of landing gear for both narrow and wide-bodied aircraft.
“The turnkey project is making extensive use of our equipment and capabilities, and includes a wide range of system designs,” comments Mike Priddle, Managing Director of Coventry-based NHE. “The original contract was for the supply of a series of process tanks, handling systems and process solution conditioning equipment as well as water and effluent treatment facilities, fume extraction and all inter-connecting electrical and pipework services. This is regarded as a major installation for a leading organisation in the sector and we were delighted to be able to work with Messier Services Ltd. to help meet the customer’s specific requirements.”
The company points out that since this initial requirement, further orders have been placed by Messier Services Ltd. – both for NDT equipment and for a paint stripping process line – bringing the total value of the NHE Plasticraft surface treatment process plant contract to over £5 million.
“The last of 60 container loads has now arrived in Saudi Arabia and installation is well underway,” continues Mike Priddle. “All three elements will play a key role in delivering high quality production and processing facilities for the end customer and we are delighted that the programme is on target for completion by the end of the year.”
